All the colors are extremely pigmented and offer full coverage with a satin finish. These apply really easily with a huge wash of color and are comfortable on the lips but I’d probably recommend a balm underneath to stop them drying lips out for long wear. They are lasting by name and lasting by nature and wear really well throughout the day.

Pros:

  • Affordable
  • Very good Pigmentation
  • Moisturizing
  • Does not stain your lips
  • Lightweight
  • Very creamy
  • Good price
  • Fruity smell

Cons:

  • Packaging is cheap
  • Not long lasting,I had to reapply
  • Slight shimmery
I was given the color 300 sand which is definitely not my match. Apparently there are 8 different shades but from what I saw at  Walgreens, they only had four colors with sand being the darkest color. The packaging  looks matte, and it even feels matte. The foundation comes out quite thick at first but when applieda little goes a long way.  I would only use this product as a highlighter for contouring since the color is 4 time brighter then my actual skin color.

Pros:

  • Again, love the packaging
  • Very easy to blend
  • Provides a matte finish as promised
  • A little goes a long, so it saves more of the product
  • Medium to full coverage
  • Covers up well
  • Travel friendly
  • Very affordable

Cons:

  • Cakey
  • Texture is thick
  • Oilness and redness can be seen at around hour five of wear
  • Not a wide range of color selection
  • Color is extremely light for my skin tone
Introducing imPress Press-On Manicure, the revolutionary way to apply polish! Featuring advanced nail technology, you can get a salon-perfect manicure in seconds – simply peel off, press on, and you’re done. With imPress, your nails will always be your best accessory.
The pack comes with 24 nails, in 12 different sizes.  They currently come in 36 different colors and patterns, including trendy brights, classic dark, and animal prints, but for this review I received #56663, in rich fuchsia. As far as glue-on/press-on nails go, these are by far the easiest and best on the market that I know of. They’re kind of pricey considering they only last a week, so that could be the determining factor for how often I actually wear them. The price is 5.99 which is cheaper than an actual full set/acrylic. The down fall is that they only last for a 5 days to a week
Price:
Retails for $5.99 for colors and $7.99 for patterns, and is available at CVS, , Kmart, Walgreens, Walmart and more. For a full list of online and in-store retailers, visit imPressManicure.com, where you can download an exclusive coupon and virtually try on all the colors and patterns!
The tea is very good cold, lightly sweetened with cane sugar, and you can taste it. It’s not too much. However, this tea is amazing when it it’s hot! You get the true essence of the flavor from it. I think tea can go either way! You know how some cultures are just so staunch about what should be done when and where, but this tea kills that theory!
  1. I like that it’s in a conveniently-sized bottle as well. I can put this in my pocket and not have to worry about it! It’s there at my convenience.
  2. The bottle is cute, not too much going on to throw your eyes off when you’re reading it. (I am a marketing major so packaging does matter)
  3. There are no dyes or colorants (which is good for me because I am trying to be as natural and organic as possible).
  4. It’s gluten free.
  5. It doesn’t need refrigeration. That’s great for me because I can just leave it in my bag and not have to worry about leaving it in my dorm when I leave for the day OR be concerned about it spoiling since it’s been opened!
  6. And, it comes with 24 servings. You can’t beat that!
  7. What I love the most about this, is that I can go from hot to cold in a matter of a drink.

One thing about this pen is that the line is much more fine than I was expecting. I've compared it to a bunch of other pens that I had sitting around. Most of these are hybrid rollers of one type or another.I'm a fan of this pen, but only when I want to write very small. It makes my handwriting look too spidery when I use my normal handwriting with this pen. If you've got a small handwriting style, then this is going to fit the bill for you.
Price:

I used the CC cream on freshly washed skin, and as a moisturizer and brightener. It worked pretty well, it's quite thick but it rubs in easily. The color in the beginning was to light for my dark completion. The longer I waiting the faster it found it's ideal shade. I used my fingers to place the cc cream under my eyes, cheeks, forehead and chin. Then I used my beauty blinder to blend it into my skin. After blending it into my skin, my color finally matched. (not like Casper!) The CC cream self adjusts and leave skin bright and even. Personally I don't think I'd wear this CC cream on a daily basis as an alternative to my mineral foundation as I found it a fraction to light and I like more coverage. But I would use it as a concealer and primer for skin. It can be worn under other make up!

Studio Gear Hydrating CC Cream retails for $34 at the Studio Gear website. BUT you can get a 10% discount on your entire order using the coupon code bloggercc! Happy shopping!

Spring Trend: Mirrored Sunglasses

Mirror Mirror, On the wall

Who’s the fairest? Of them all.

Mirrored sunglasses are fashion's fairest of them all right now, from runways and celebrities to fashion mags and even the cool hipsters I ran into on the subway last night in Brooklyn.  These cool specs are everywhere and I LOVE these shiny, reflective surfaces! Here are a few of my trend inspirations, two Pinterest picks (one and three) and in the middle Chiara Ferragni from the Blonde Salad in her post yesterday.

Use the above looks as inspiration and take a look at my selection of sunnies in variety of shapes and sizes so you can find frames that best suit your style. These are my nine favorite pairs of mirrored sunglasses in brilliant green, orange, and blue hues for this warm-weather necessity:

GlamSt Virtual Makeover
Inspired Look #1:  Kelly Rowland
I was recently asked by glamST.com to join their newly launched site and to give my thoughts on it. GlamST  is the new platform that helps women find the best beauty products. It combines a virtual makeover tool, smart recommendations and social advice to help women make their best choices online. The website essentially allows you to try out new makeup products in a virtual setting.

Setting up an account is extremely easy! Just log in using one of the following social media accounts (Facebook or Google+), upload a photo of yourself or use one of their models, and set up your face with “markers” which are dots you click and drag to outline your face, eyes, lips and brows. Have fun choosing different shades and many types of products. Take your time finding out what products would look best on you. They even offer links to the different websites the products come from. for buying purposes. So spend some time on GlamST and make a variety of looks. If you create a look, tweet your look to both @glamstapp @be_mesCudi and don't forget to hashtag #glamst.

Inspired Look #2:  Beyonce
I did a "virtual makeover" using shades of purple. I employed purple eyeshadow, a purple tinted blush, and a plum glossy lip. I was very impressed with how well the program applied the makeup to the proper areas of my picture. This look changes the classic natural look by adding a pop of color. By adding purple, it softens up the look giving it a princess feel. Add a warm purple eye-shadow in the crease to complete the look. Also, either a nude pink and medium-dark plum is fine. A layer of gloss makes everything look fabulous.

CUT OUT ANKLE BOOTS: HAIDER ACKERMANN vs THE WORLD

It doesn't matter how ugly you think something is, once Christine Centenera wears it, the whole world wants it. Take these Haider Ackermann boots she has on in the above pic, shoe brands have taken the design and put their on twist on it. Everyone once went crazy for the Balenciaga cut-out biker boots, and now it seems the new boots on everyone's wish list are these. My favourite "inspired" pair, in this case, are actually the cheapest - the Choies version - which look the most similar to the Ackermann original. French Attire

I love love love Emmanuelle Alt. She is one of my new style icons. I believe she was the one who created the “French Uniform”. This uniform is exactly what every woman needs in her closet to have timeless style.

What you need is the following…

  • skinny jeans (blue, black and white)
  • a magnificently tailored black blazer
  • striped vest/t-shirt
  • denim shirt
  • cashmere and a chunky knit (black, grey or/and camel)
  • distressed boyfriend jeans
  • white shirt
  • black pumps/heels
  • gold watch
  • basic oversize Tees (white, black, grey)
  • black pencil skirt
  • leather jacket
  • ankle boots
  • an immaculate quality coat (black, grey or/and camel)
  • Ray-ban (wayfarer or aviator)
First of all the “French Uniform” is all about quality. Cheap fabrics just wont do. Think tweed, cashmere, wool, silk and real leather. The pieces are timeless classics. If it has a good label like Hermes or Balmain, you’re hitting the nail on the head. The look is effortless. Less is more when it comes to accessories. Just a bracelet or a watch will do. Hair is messy, makeup is always natural and skin has a sun kissed glow. You should look like you just threw something on. Last but not least the wardrobe colours are neutral. Think black (most important), denim, white, grey, camel.
I’m really considering cleaning out my closet and going all out French!
